Hi Music Lovers,
We are the Ensemble Group, part of the Garden State Harmonica Club. All of us really enjoy playing the Mouth Organ. Sharing that joy by entertaining others is what we do for fun. Our musical fare comes from the favorites of the 40's, 50's and 60's which lends itself to knee slapping, outbursts of song and sometimes a whirl on the dance floor by our audiences. Since 1971 we have pleased senior groups, veterans, nursing and assisted living centers, civic and church organizations and others within a 20 mile radius of our Glen Rock, NJ base. The Ensemble arrives complete with the players, instruments, audio equipment and loud speakers; you provide the listeners, 110 volt electrical outlet and room.
Our program runs about an hour and we are available by appointment, mid-day, Monday through Friday and at other times by special arrangement. The ensemble players entertain for free, but hope for a modest donation to the Garden State Harmonica Club to enable us to keep our equipment up to date and to defray operating expenses.
